Wayne has been doing
apres-ski here for several years. It's a great room - kind of like sitting in
your own living room,
except that there is one of the premier ski mountains
in the world just outside the window. There are couches and easy-chairs, and a
fireplace, along with great, reasonable food. Wayne's old friend from the Briar
Rose days, Cheeze, is the proprietor, and he's the guy who brought Wayne in in
the first place. Grand Timber is located right next to Beaver Run Resort, where
Wayne played for many years at Tiffany's.
For the 2013-14 season, Wayne will be doing every Tuesday starting January 7th,
along with Thursday, December 26th
and for a special nighttime show on New Years Eve (8 PM - midnight. No cover -
watch the fireworks from the deck!)
Wayne will be performing in Florida from January 14th -
25th so he won't be at Grand Timber on Tuesday, January 14th or 21st. (Check the schedule for
info about that.)
Showtime at Grand Timber is at 3:30 during the darkest part of the winter, and then gradually
morphs into a 4 PM or even 4:30 PM
as the days get longer and people
stay out on the slopes until later in the afternoon.
If you are driving, stop at the front desk and tell them you are there for the
Wayne Faust Show at the Lodgepole, and they will tell you where to park.
