HAPPY NEW YEAR from picklehead. com!

Well, we wanted snow for Christmas here at the Picklehead Mansion in the Colorado Rockies, and we got it - and then some. But we love that kind of thing here, and, being snowed in,
it gave us lots of time to bring you more great comedy, variety, and acoustic music.
It even gave us time to set up Digital Downloads on Picklehead! Yep, now you can download just the songs you want, from one tune to entire albums of great stuff, all delivered instantly to your computer. This is a big thing for all of us here, and we're excited to take a step into the future.
Check back to our site often, because we plan to eventually make most of our artists' material available this way.

WAYNE FAUST SCHEDULE UPDATE
1/2/06

Happy New Year!
2006 was quite a year for me, with lots of new places on my calendar, as well as some awesome family events,
like the wedding of my son Paul, and the birth of our first grandchild.
The year finished with two of the biggest snowstorms we ever had around here in the foothills of the Rockies, so I'm a happy guy!
2007 is shaping up to be another good year, with many new things on the horizon.
Stay tuned for my new video of the song "Bald Guys," which will hopefully proliferate all over the Internet
and bring Bald Guys everywhere the love and adoration they so richly deserve.
Also, look for me to do a lot of promoting of my book, 'Thirty Years Without A Real Job.'
And I'm excited that ALL of my music is now available for digital download on Picklehead. There are some classic rarities available, as well as more than one version of some of my most popular songs.

Wayne played here several times last year, including just before Halloween. It's quite the party place, and it figures to be a blast, helping Wayne to warm up a January night in Wisconsin. After this show and the private show in Green Bay, he heads down to Florida, presumably to thaw out!

Wayne played here this August and liked it so much, he's coming back for two, 3-week stretches.
They have EXCELLENT food here, and the stage, lights, and sound are great - it's a great place for a show.
He will be doing his own show every Monday thru Wednesday at 9 PM.
Then he will MC a nationally-touring comedy show every Thursday thru Sunday at 9 PM,
and do his show afterwards, from 11 PM to close. It's a chance to see Wayne, along with some great stand-up comedians on the same night!

Wayne's played here in December and it was really nice. The Outlook is a great hotel, complete with a 'Holidome' type of area, with an indoor pool, hot tub, health club, and sauna. It's a great getaway, and nice and close for front-rangers.
Look for Wayne to be here several times this year.

Wayne did lots of shows here in the summer of 2006, and he looks forward to doing 2 weeks a month in summer, 2007. Shady Gator's has loads of potential, with a huge Marina and a 3000 seat entertainment complex just across the cove. They plan to do lots of remodeling and adding on, to make an already exciting place even better. The tentative dates for Wayne's shows are as follows:

This will be the first week of hunting season. Wayne's done this weekend before and it's a whole bunch of fun. Last time he did this, he woke up in his motel to the sounds of guns firing in nearby fields and a really dumb deer hanging from a swing set nearby.
This should be a fun getaway weekend in the upper midwest!

Believe it or not, after 20 years in Colorado, this is Wayne's first time in Boulder. This should be a great place - a nice showroom and a good venue for live music. Plus, this close to Christmas, the hotel should be warm and cozy and decked out for the Holidays.

As many of you know, I've been playing at Tiffany's in Beaver Run, Breckenridge for the past fifteen years. Beaver Run is doing a major re-model and Tiffany's will no longer be there. They're building a new room upstairs at the Copper Top and they've booked someone else for Apres-ski, 5 days a week. Of course I'm disappointed, and I thank all the people who came to my ski shows all those years from all over the world. I hope to get some new ski season gigs at other places in the area, and I will let everyone know when that happens. In the meantime, if you'd still like to see me do some dates at Beaver Run, writing to them might not hurt. There is no e-mail for the Food and Beverage guy, but his address is:
