Schedule Update  8/8/08

Well, my long summer of traveling is winding down, and I'm on the home stretch. I've really enjoyed being out here performing for so many people. After a seven year hiatus, Rusty and I seemed to pick up right where we left off for the Faust & Lewis Reunion in Put-In-Bay. We even have some new original songs already. Everyone at the shows has been asking us if we'll do this again and all we can say is, "We haven't thought that far ahead yet." I guess that qualifies as a politician's phrase "No comment." We'll see! But it's been a blast. We have one more two week stretch there,
starting on August 18th, and going through August 31st (Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.) And then it's home to Colorado for me!

The shows in Lake Ozark have been going remarkably well. Shady Gator's is turning out to be THE place to be in the Ozarks and the crowds keep getting better all the time. I've only got 7 more shows there, going through Saturday, August 16th, so try to get down there and see the show before I'm done there for the summer!

My fall schedule is light, as I rest my vocal cords and work on some new projects. I'm going to be searching for some ski gigs, so if you have any connections on any of those, please let me know.

I just put a recently published short story on my website. It's a history-flavored sci-fi story about The Alamo that I wrote when I was playing down in Austin. You can check it out by clicking here.

Wayne is back at the Legendary Bucksnort for another round of shows for 2008. The Bucksnort is a place you have to experience. While you're at it, bring some non-Colorado friends so they can experience this rustic, famous mountain bar.
NOTE: Due to Wayne's many out of town and out of the country shows this spring and summer, he's doing a lot less shows at the Snort, so try to make it when he's there - and arrive early!
From Denver, take Highway 285 into the mountains and go left at Shafer's Crossing (about 5 miles past Conifer) and experience the 7-mile winding road to the Bucksnort.
